A little background story on this image. This is my amazing sister at her school during Spirit Week. The theme of the day was Formal/Dress Up and my sister was super excited for it because she loves dressing up and has a puffy purple prom dress that she wanted to wear. She mentioned this in class to a teacher and the teacher was like, “Oh no, by dress up we mean nice clothes that you might wear to church or special occasions”, and basically told her she couldn’t wear what she wanted. My sister could have complained, but no, she bought a tie from Hot Topic, found her old blazer and some black slacks, and gelled her hair back for extra measure. Most of her class made fun of her and called her a boy but when asked about it, she just said, “What, it’s perfectly acceptable church clothes.” I swear, I may be the older sister, but one day I hope I can say that I’m as awesome as my sister.
OK guys now I haven’t posted anything in like five-ever and that is punishable by tumblr death, but I have a reason! One I’m almost always at a boarding school that does not allow tumblr, and two my sister broke my laptop so even on weekends when I’m at home I cannot get on the internet. As soon as I can buy another computer I shall start posting again. Until then, I can’t.
